Walking Beside First Nations to Build What Matters

Tansi and thank you for visiting.
My name is Laura Creswell. I’m a professional engineer and the founder of Creswell Consulting, where I have the privilege of working alongside First Nations in Alberta to support community-led infrastructure projects.
This work is about more than pipes and pavement, it’s about listening, building trust, and helping turn community priorities into lasting change. I’m here to offer hands-on support with planning, funding, and technical guidance, all grounded in respect and collaboration.
At the heart of it all is a shared commitment: to help create the conditions where communities can lead the way, on their terms, in their time, and with the tools they need to shape a strong, self-determined future.
If you're leading housing, infrastructure, or public works projects and are constantly pulled in every direction, I see you. The demands are real, and there’s rarely enough time or support.
That’s where I come in. I work alongside leaders like you to keep projects moving, organizing tasks, write funding applications, and turning technical complexity into clear next steps.
If the pressure’s building, let’s talk. You don’t have to carry it all alone.
